Mobility

ERAWEB will offer scholarships over another two Calls for Applications (in 2015 and 2016).

Erasmus Mundus –Western Balkans 2 (ERAWEB II) is a continuation of the first Erasmus Mundus –Western Balkans project (ERAWEB I). The consortium has grown to involve six EU universities and seven Western Balkan universities, coordinated by Erasmus MC with the support from the University of Belgrade as co-coordinator.

ERAWEB I runs from 15 July 2011 to 14 July 2015. ERAWEB II runs from 15 July 2013 to 14 July 2017. Most of the mobility from the Western Balkans to the European Union partner universities involves training students at the undergraduate, Masters and PhD level. Staff mobility mainly involves teacher training and faculty building between the various institutions.

A special characteristic of this project is the focus on students from groups that are currently under-represented in Western Balkan institutions for higher education, which are defined as refugees, internally displaced persons, women and Roma people (target group 3 students). Students from these groups are encouraged to participate in the mobility schemes and will be selected on the basis of a list of criteria described in the Selection Criteria of the Call for Applications.
